  • 0900 hrs - Staging for Escort Ride at Wal-Mart Parking Lot, Americus

  • 1000 hrs - Escort Ride to Andersonville National Historic Site

  • 1100 hrs - Korean War POW Plaque Dedication Ceremony

  • 1130 hrs - Light Lunch at National POW Museum

  • 1400 hrs - Escort Ride from Museum to First Baptist Church, Americus

  • 1430 hrs - Remembrance Ceremony at First Baptist Church

  • 1900 hrs - Heroes Dinner

  • 2100 hrs - Candlelight Ceremony

SATURDAY, 19 SEPTEMBER 2009 - Recognizing Ex-POWs Who Have Returned

  • 0800 hrs - Staging for Escort Ride at Wal-Mart Parking Lot, Americus

  • 0900 hrs - Escort Ride to National POW Museum

  • 1000 hrs - Recognition Ceremony

As with all Rolling Thunder® events, a motorcycle is not required to ride with us. We welcome all vehicles. Participants need only the desire to pay tribute to our American Heroes – POWs and MIAs.
